  Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford receives 2007 Preservation Award

May, 2007: The Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford was awarded the 2007 Preservation Award by the Massachusetts Historical Commission. Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin, Chairman of the Commission, presented the Award at a special ceremony on May 31st.  McGinley Kalsow & Associates was responsible for the restoration and renovation of this 1894 Gothic Style Church. Work involved a comprehensive assessment, structural repairs, significant restoration of the Fellowship Hall, stained glass window, wall restoration and masonry repairs of the belfry. The church was designed by J.Merrill Brown.
